Rashtriya Indian Military College (RIMC) is a prestigious residential military school located in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. It is administered by the Ministry of Defence, Government of India. It trains young cadets for careers in the Indian Armed Forces and prepares them for entry into NDA (National Defence Academy).
Must be studying in Class VII or have passed Class VII from a recognized school.
For Class VIII entry:
Minimum age: 11 years
Maximum age: below 13 years
(as on 1 January or 1 July of the term)
Both boys and girls can apply.
Forms are submitted via respective State Governments or official notifications.
Conducted twice a year (January & July terms)
